Nothing to Lose
Book Review
This book is chilling and disturbing but it could all happen. It’s about Michael and how his mom is abused by his step-dad. So he begins at the carnival wear he works when he sees a newspaper about the Monroe case. One thing about this story is that it’s really more like two stories in one. It will go from the year it is right know to the previous year before everything happened. At the very end the stories will make scenes and intertwine. Michael’s character evokes more and more by "de-evolving" and become more secluded to two places which were the house and the carnival. His character becomes dark almost and always wants to be around Kristie, his love from the carnival, so he has to make a choice between staying at home with Walker and his mom or going out and leaving with the carnival. And you will have to read the story to read what he chooses and the conflicts of the choice. The believability is a little hurt by the out come of some of the things that happen but it is mostly believable by saying how you can be when you are hurt and are continually hurt.

Other people will like the style of writing with as I mentioned in other parts the story changes time periods and it makes the story more interesting. If you don't like this you will like indefinitly is that the way Alex Flinn writes and makes the characters devolope and make the characters come to like becuase she describes how they look and how they do things in such great ways which really show what Micheal was thinking.
